競技規則
すべての法令を遵守し、大会規定および役員の指示に従います。また、大会競技中（付帯行事の開催中も含む）に何らかの事故等により負傷、死亡した場合、私および親族等は主催者およびその関係者に対し一切の責任を問いません。さらに、競技中（付帯行事の開催中も含む）に於ける私物等についての管理は自己責任とします。
肖像、氏名、住所、年齢、競技暦などが、大会に関連する広告全般および報道・情報メディアにおいて使用されることを了承し、これらに付随して主催者・管轄競技団体が制作する印刷物・ビデオ・情報メディアなどによる商業的利用を承諾致します。参加者が18歳未満の場合は保護者の誓約事項の同意を得て申込んで下さい。
自己都合による申込後のキャンセルはできません。天災・事件・事故等による開催縮小・中止等の場合において参加料はお返しできませんのでご了承ください。なお、選手の代替出場は認めません。大会ガイドブック・ルールブックに則って安全に競技を行います。
新型コロナウィルス関連について
XTERRA JAPAN運営事務局では新型コロナウィルス対策を実施し安心安全なイベント運営を目指しています。運営スタッフ、参加者、ボランティア、関係者の皆様に下記の書類の提出をお願いします。イベント時の新型コロナウィルスのまん延状況や社会情勢より抗体検査などを大会会場で行う場合もございますのでご理解をお願いします。
- ワクチン接種証明もしくは陰性証明（1週間以内のもの）
- 健康チェックシート
Event Rules
- 許可を得ないと走行できない特別な場所です。自然を愛し、大切にします。
- トレーニング、レースを問わずコースの自然を壊す行為は絶対に慎みます。
- トレーニング、レース中においては、一般ハイカーなどに迷惑をかけない走行を心がけます。
- トレーニング、レースにおける怪我や事故には気をつけます。自己責任で参加します。
- 怪我や故障、 体調不良の場合には無理してフィニッシュしないで下さい。チャンスは1度ではありません。
- どんな時も楽しむことを忘れない事!笑顔でゴールしましょう!

Technical Rules
スイム
- 泳ぐ、浮く、流される以外で進まないでください。コースロープや浮き輪につかまっ て休む事は許されるが、ロープを伝って進まないでください。
- 手首、足首から先に何もつけてはいけない。パドル、フィンは許可しません。
- 支給されたスイムキャップを必ずかぶってください。
- ウェットスーツは下記の条件で許可、義務化されます。

MTB
- MTBに乗る、押す、担ぐ以外の方法で進まないでください。
- 使用する自転車はMTBのみ許可します。シクロクロス車、ロード車は使用できません。
- ホイールの大きさは26インチ、27.5インチ、29インチのみ許可します。ただしキッズは除きます。
- MTBに乗る前にヘルメットのストラップを締め、降りてからストラップを外してください。
- シングルトラックでは早い人に道を譲ってください。
- 危険箇所では無理な追い越しは行わない。自分の不運を嘆く事。
- ドラフティングはやりたきゃどうぞ!
- 主催者が支給するレースナンバーを必ずMTBの前につけてください。ナンバーにステッカー等を貼って加工しないでくだざい。
- メカニックトラブルは自分で対応してください。外部からのアシスタントは禁止です。ただしコース監視員や、他の選手には頼んでみるもよし。あなたの頼み方次第では助けてくれるかも。
- コース上、一部公道と併走する部分がありますが、公道はコースではありません、絶対に公道に出ないでください。公道の走行は失格です。
ラン
- 主催者から支給されているナンバーを必ず前面につけてください。
- 走る、歩く、這う、転がる以外の方法で進まないでください。
- 危険箇所では無理な追い越しを行わないでください。
General Rules
トランジッション
- エリアを出るまでMTBに乗らないでください。
- エリア手前でMTBを降りてください。
- 自分のナンバリングがされている所にギアを置きましょう。他人のスペースに物を置かないでください。
禁止行為
- 他の選手の妨害行為をしたり、スポーツマンらしくない振る舞いや、下品、汚い言葉を発した選手は、警告、降格、さらには失格の対象となります。
- コース及び会場周辺へのゴミの投棄や自然環境を壊す行為があった場合は失格の対 象となります。
抗議
- いかなる抗議もフィニッシュから1時間以内に文書で提出しなければなりません。抗議者は、内容を出来るだけ詳細に書き、証明をして提出してください。
- 口頭での抗議は一切受付けていません。文書により提出された全ての抗議は調査します。
装着品
- ヘッドセット、MP3プレイヤー、MDプレイヤー、ラジオなどはレースでの使用を禁止します。
ペナルティー
- ペナルティーは違反行為の軽重によって判断します。ミニマムペナルティーは2分とし、マキシマムペナルティーは失格とします。
カットオフタイム
- レースにカットオフタイムを設けます。
- レース当日のブリーフィングで確認してください。
重要事項

トレイルランニングシューズの着用
竹林や岩が露出している箇所があるため、裸足またはサンダル等の素足が露出したシューズでの出走を禁止します。
- 熊鈴、エマージェンシーシート、ヘッドライト

Competition Rules
Will abide by all laws and regulations, and follow the event rules and instructions of the officials. In the event that I am injured or killed in any way during the competition (including during ancillary events), I and my relatives will not hold the organizer or its related parties responsible in any way. Furthermore, will be responsible for the management of my personal belongings during the competition (including during ancillary events).
Agree that my portrait, name, address, age, competition history, etc., may be used in all advertising, press and information media related to the event, and consent to the commercial use of such information in printed materials, videos, information media, etc., produced by the organizer and the competition organization. If under 18 years of age, please obtain the consent of parent or guardian before applying.
Cancellation after application for personal reasons is not allowed. Please note that the entry fee will not be refunded in the event that the event is reduced or cancelled due to a natural disaster, incident, or accident. No substitute entries will be accepted.
The competition will be conducted safely in accordance with the tournament guidebook and rule book.
About COVID-19
The XTERRA JAPAN Management Office is implementing countermeasures against the new coronavirus to ensure safe and secure event management. Would like to ask all staffs, participants, volunteers, and related parties to submit the following documents. Please understand that antibody tests may be conducted at the event site depending on the spread of the new coronavirus and social conditions at the time of the event.
- "Vaccination certificate" or "Certificate of testing" (Obtained within one week)

Swim
- You can make your way through by swimming or floating and also you can take rests to perch on buoys or course rope during swim leg however, you cannot plow through by holding the coursed rope.
- Paddles and fins are not allowed.
- Wearing a provided swim cap is mandatory.

Note: The above are water temperature. The regulations may change under race day’s weather and land conditions.
MTB
- You cannot make your way other than with riding, carrying and pushing your MTB.
- Only mountain bikes are legal for competition. Cyclo-cross bikes are not allowed. No drop handlebars are allowed. No aero bars are allowed. All bikes must have 26",27.5" and 29" wheels.
- Fasten your helmet strap before you ride your MTB and unfasten it after you get off your MTB.
- Do not disturb and move to the side as soon as possible when you are being passed, especially when you are on single truck.
- Safety is No1 priority. Do not pass other rides aggressively when the course is not safety enough.
- Drafting is allowed.
- When you get trouble during the raced, basically you have to fix by yourself.
- Do not litter the course and disturb other competitors and nature.
- Do not ride on pavement road.
Trail Run
- Put a provided Race No# on your front. Wearing a race belt is allowed.
- You can make your way through by running, walking and crawling but do not use any instruments to help your way through.
- Safety is No1 priority. Do not litter the course and disturb other competitors and nature.
General Rules
Transition
- Do not get on your MTB until you pass the designated line.
- Get off your MTB before the designated line.
- You can put your MTB and your belongings only marked area with your race No#.
Conduct
- Foul riding or running, unsportsmanlike behavior or use of profane or abusive language is grounds for warning, relegation, disqualification.
- Violating or littering the race course or the race compound is also grounds for warning, relegation, disqualification.
Protests
- Protests of any nature must be submitted within one hour of the finish time of the person lodging the protest. Protests must be submitted in writing and signed by the accuser. Saying somebody cut the course is not good enough - it must be written and described as accurately as possible. All protests will be invested. Because of the name of XTERRA, it is not always possible to see in fraction. In every case there will need to be verification of the infraction. Officials will not be drawn into "hear-say" argument.
Miscellaneous
- No type of sound device is allowed during competition. Examples: no headsets, tape players, CD players, MP3 players or 2-way radios may be worn.
Penalties
- Penalties will be determined by the severity of the infraction. The minimum penalty will always be 2 minutes. The maximum penalty will be disqualification from the results of the event.
Cut-Off Time
- Check at the briefing on the day of the race.

- Have a great joy and finish with a smile!
Wear trail running shoes
Since there are places where bamboo forests and rocks are exposed, it is prohibited to run barefoot or in shoes that expose bare feet such as sandals.
